About Me

Thanks so much for visiting the site!

I'm Sondra, and I believe I came into this world to be a "helper." I began working in allopathic medicine at the age of 18 as a medical assistant, then as a respiratory therapist and nurse, but it was in my search for answers to my symptoms which steered me away from mainstream medicine to seek out alternate modalities in complementary medicine, particularly in the modalities of reflexology and reiki.

My path in complementary medicine education began when I saw the wonderful outcomes in which Britain's Sally Kay was having in lymphedema patients utilizing Reflexology Lymph Drainage. This protocol has proven beneficial for some with lymphatic diseases.

That was the spark I needed to embrace treatments beyond allopathic medicine which could benefit those with diseases and disorders of the lymphatic system. Since that time, I've studied foot, hand, ear and facial reflexology under several National Council for Reflexology Educators, including Ralph Richey, Cheryl Speen, and Chantel Lucier. I've completed continuing education in acupressure, traditional Chinese medicine, Bio-Touch, massage, and reiki for pain management. I've also studied other modalities to improve lymphatics, such as manual lymphatic drainage, Ayurvedic head massage, digital auriculotherapy, Thai foot massage, and working with sound and vibration. My concentration has been in learning those modalities which affect and improve the lymphatic system and control pain, to bring the body into its natural balance.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to support others on their healing journey as they navigate their path to health and wellness. I'm committed to continuing to broaden my knowledge of the specialized holistic modalities of reflexology, reiki and aesthetics through advanced education in order to better serve my clients.
